Founder- Ani Moynihan

With a background in costume design, Ani developed her unique style over two decades tailoring garments for the performing arts, bridal, film and fashion.

As a creative thinker, with her love of textiles, Ani conceptualised MOW, a fashion label with a purpose: To combat textiles waste creatively, and ignite positive change in the fashion industry.

RECLAIM-REPURPOSE- REVOLUTIONISE

Fashion industry waste has reached an alarming level.  Each year millions of tons of perfectly good clothes are discarded before reaching the market due to manufacturing imperfections or excess stock. Unfortunately, these garments often meet a tragic fate… sent to landfill, shredded or burned. Additionally, valuable end of roll fabric and off-cuts are also discarded despite their immense potential for reuse.

Recognising the untapped possibilities, MOW RECLAIMS a small portion of this ‘waste’ and transforms it into stylish sustainable garments. Salvaging and REPURPOSING these materials foster the concept of a ‘circular economy’ and promotes resourcefulness.

MOW is creating new opportunities for fashion waste and hopes to inspire you to do the same. There is no planet B so we need to band together to protect our precious resources. Be part of the fashion REVOLUTION and support sustainable brands.
